Job Duties & Responsibilities
Kid Strong Member Service Receptionists are the support system of the Program Director at the center. They work with the Program Director to foster a culture of learning and development for Coaches and Families, and deliver key business results such as sales and member retention. The ideal candidate is welcoming, engaging, and focused on providing an exceptional experience for kids, families, and team members.
This position is available at both our Cary and Raleigh locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
CENTER OPERATIONS
- Build and maintain relationships with families to provide excellent customer service.
- Welcome families upon entry.
- Assist with administrative needs and inquiries.
- Enroll new members for memberships or trial classes.
- Act as the Trial champion, focusing on closing sales during trials.
- Oversee center initiatives like maintenance, training, and branding.
- Participate in cleaning and maintenance routines.
- Work a schedule of 3 weekdays and 2 weekends, with specific hours as per center needs.
- Part-time weekday hours: 3:00 pm to 7:45 pm; weekend hours: 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
- Support the Program Director with center needs.
OUTBOUND CALLS
- Make 1-2 hours of outbound sales calls, texts, and follow-ups daily.
- Conduct member relation calls and voicemail returns.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- A passion for working with children is essential.
- Comfortable communicating with parents/guardians.
- Complete training via Learn Upon as required.
- Previous experience as a receptionist is a plus.
- Management experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with Google and Microsoft platforms.
- Experience with Glo Fox, Learn Upon, Podium, Hub Spot, or Google Sheets is a plus.
- CPR certification is preferred but can be obtained within 90 days of hire.
BONUS
- Eligible for membership sales bonus after training and probation.
Sphere of Interaction
This role has no direct reports. When the Program Director is absent, the Receptionist oversees center operations to a limited extent and interacts with leadership and HQ teams as needed.
