The Mobile SDK team at Pendo is responsible for developing and maintaining the Pendo mobile product, focusing on our mobile SDKs for iOS and Android. We work closely with the internals of both platforms, integrating with various mobile frameworks like React Native, Xamarin Forms, MAUI, and Flutter. Our team is dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of the SDK through rigorous automation and maintaining efficient release pipelines.

We also collaborate closely with customers to deliver the best possible mobile experience, ensuring their success with our product.

Pendo's mobile SDK allows businesses to collect detailed analytics on user behavior within their mobile applications without extensive coding. This data helps them understand how users interact with the app and enables the delivery of targeted in-app messages and guides on top of the app to improve user experience and drive product adoption.

• Design and Evolve iOS SDK Features: Architect, implement, and maintain new functionality within the Pendo Android SDK. Ensure seamless integration with the broader mobile product ecosystem and deliver an exceptional developer experience.
• Leverage Deep Knowledge of iOS Internals: Work closely with iOS internals to optimize performance, resolve complex issues, and ensure compatibility across a wide range of devices and OS versions.
• Cross-Platform Mobile Framework Development: Contribute to SDK development across multiple mobile frameworks—including Flutter, React Native, Xamarin Forms, and MAUI—ensuring broad compatibility, high performance, and feature parity.
• Deliver High-Quality, Maintainable Code: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code. Champion best practices by developing unit and integration tests, enabling automation, and actively participating in code reviews.
• Integrate Seamlessly with Mobile Ecosystems: Collaborate with team members to ensure the SDK integrates smoothly with third-party mobile frameworks and developer tools, reducing friction for partner teams and end users.
• Support Global Customers: Partner with international customers to provide technical guidance, troubleshoot integration challenges, and help them succeed with Pendo’s mobile solutions.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Engage with product managers, designers, customer-facing teams, and fellow engineers to align on priorities and deliver an exceptional mobile experience.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Contribute to team initiatives focused on process enhancement, tooling, and innovation to ensure the SDK remains cutting-edge and developer-friendly.
• AI proficiency: Ability to apply AI tools and techniques effectively within engineering and product workflows. Must demonstrate both strong technical aptitude and an AI-oriented mindset—marked by curiosity, adaptability, and ethical awareness. Expected to reason critically about the use and impact of AI in development and product decisions.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Related Field, or Equivalent

  A solid educational background in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-3+ Years of Experience in iOS App Development and/or Mobile SDK Development:
  Proven expertise in developing iOS applications or SDKs, with a deep understanding of iOS development practices.
• Passion for Mobile Development and Learning New Technologies:
  Enthusiasm for staying up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile development, and flexibility in working with different frameworks and development environments.
• Strong English Verbal Skills and Service Awareness:
  Excellent English communication skills and a customer-centric approach, enabling effective technical support for international customers.

• Deep Understanding of iOS Internals:

• Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD):
  Familiarity with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications or SDKs.
• Knowledge of Mobile Security Best Practices:
