Accentuate Staffing is working with a client that is hiring an experienced .NET Developer to join their technology team on a contract basis. In this hybrid position, you will work collaboratively with a cross‑functional team, onsite at least three days a week. This role plays a key part in maintaining and enhancing critical applications that support statewide programs and public services.

The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience with C#, .NET, and SQL Server, along with strong problem‑solving and communication skills. You’ll work with developers and analysts to enhance web‑based systems, automate manual processes, and optimize existing software performance. A passion for clean, efficient code and an understanding of modern development practices will help you succeed in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C# and .NET.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and team members to translate requirements into functional solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, improving stability and system reliability.
  • Implement new features, enhance user interfaces, and automate recurring reports or processes.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure code quality through modern design patterns and best practices.
  • Participate in Agile development processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in C#/.NET web development.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server and experience using Entity Framework for data access.
  • Familiarity with Azure, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and other modern front‑end tools preferred.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using JIRA or similar tools for project tracking.
