** Position will operate as a member of the Enterprise Applications team, responsible for developing APIs and workflows in the Mule Soft Anypoint and Cloud Hub platforms to meet the current and growing demands of the Credit Union. Individual will be responsible for understanding, analyzing, and translating business needs and product requirements into technical solutions autonomously. Individual will engage and partner with stakeholders across the organization throughout the development, execution, and testing phases of assigned initiatives.

Individual should elevate the skills and expertise of teammates as a technology leader working to improve the engineering processes and overall excellence.
20% - Support, troubleshoot and assist the resolution production incidents in an on-call rotation.  Maintain Jira stories and participate in daily stand ups to communicate roadblocks and status updates to the team.
50% - Responsible for complex involvement in the software development life cycle including the creation, enhancement, implementation, review and code management of APIs. Perform development tasks according to established company, department, and project standards.  Continuously evaluate and facilitate updates to these standards as technology evolves. Perform code reviews, code merges and design reviews with peers. Leverage devops best practices to automate and improve system reliability, code promotion and testing within the SECU API landscape.
20% - Lead development efforts for multiple projects simultaneously, with varied degrees of complexity and duration.  Perform review and refinement of the product backlog and assist with their prioritization, acceptance criteria and overall completness. Provide on the job mentoring to junior level developers to help upskill and support the team.
10 % - Drive the evolution of our technology platforms and development standards to ensure that we deliver scalable software solutions to business requirements. Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and technical advancements and push the envelope with innovative and creative thinking.

Required Knowledge, Abilities,

Skills:

Mule Soft Anypoint Developer with 5+ years of professional development experience or 5+ years experience with an equivalent integration platform or programming framework such as TIBCO Business works, Software

AG web Methods, Apache Camel, Java Spring boot API development or .Net API development

Experience developing for high availability and scalability    Ability to lead and coordinate meetings and working sessions between assigned lines of business, Information Security, Legal, Compliance, and other various teams.

Professional experience with Jira, Git (using git flow), Confluence or Sharepoint, Postman and Microsoft Visio or Lucid Charts Must be able to confidently interact with technical, non-technical, and management staff.  Ability to not only build technology solutions but explain your solution architecture and technology choices to enterprise Architects and senior leadership.

Must be able to speak English fluently

Desired Education, Experience, Knowledge, Abilities, and

Skills:

Mulesoft Certified Developer    Advanced skills in implementing Service APIs with the market leading API management tools and microservice based architecture, containers, and automation.

Experience working with middleware deployed within the Amazon Web Services cloud.

Experience assessing and managing technology and cyber security risks related to application, network, and infrastructure.
Extensive experience working with relational databases and large data sets.

Extensive experience working in large, enterprise level programs/projects, preferably with a background in Financial Services.

Integration experience with SaaS, distributed and Mainframe based systems
