NVIDIA Product Security Team is seeking a passionate and innovative Software Development Engineer to work directly with Platform Development teams to operationalize common security solutions and integrate third‑party solutions to catalog NVIDIA programs, detect vulnerabilities, drive remediation response, securely deploy into cloud environments, and innovate to meet the scale and demand of all NVIDIA’s product teams.

• You will work within various Platform Development teams to stand up automated security scanning, analysis, and signing pipelines, act as intermediary and guide teams on security requirements, and provide pre‑vetted solutions based on the build system and repository pipelines the product uses.
• Advocate bringing team’s unique requirements back to our Security Engineering teams, improving our platforms and services, and develop the overall security playbook for those teams to empower them for their future secure development.
• Work directly with software developers, understand their needs, and design security systems and solutions that enable developers to operate more effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Sec Dev Ops  or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a software development or developer operations role.
• 5+ years of confirmed software design or development operations capabilities in building or standing up end‑to‑end applications, infrastructure and automation frameworks at large scale.
• Experience implementing object‑oriented languages for a distributed environment – Python and Golang.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Background with designing reports from scalable databases or data stores (MySQL, No
  
  SQL or equivalent SQL technology).
• Experience deploying to cloud technologies/infrastructure.
• Experience with scalable, available, and low‑latency systems (Kubernetes and Docker).
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & standard methodologies for the software development process.
• Background working in an Agile SDLC.

• Understanding of Dependency Managers.
• Experience in integration of solutions in build pipelines.
• Knowledge of vulnerability reporting through CVE.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is $136,000 – $212,750 for Level 3, and $168,000 – $264,500 for Level 4.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
