Senior Principal Embedded Software Engineer (Relocation Assistance)

• Design and develop high-performance embedded software applications using the Qt framework, ensuring seamless integration with hardware components.
• Lead architectural design of front‑end software, focusing on modularity, scalability, and maintainability, and ensuring harmony between software and hardware.
• Collaborate closely with hardware engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define system requirements and ensure smooth integration.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid‑level engineers, fostering continuous learning.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce coding standards, and implement testing strategies to validate functionality and performance.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in embedded systems development and verification, to drive innovation within the team.
• Document and maintain comprehensive design, process, and testing documentation, and share knowledge with the team.

• 8+ years of embedded software development experience; 3+ years of experience using a UI framework.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency in C++, Qt/QML, object‑oriented programming, and embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles for embedded systems and demonstrated experience in writing, debugging, and optimizing C/C++ code.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and proven leadership abilities; experience managing technical projects and mentoring team members.

• Experience with additional programming languages such as Python; familiarity with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with automated testing using the Squish library for Qt.
