Software Engineer, DevOps
Akkodis is seeking an Automation SME for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC(Remote). You will design and implement robust test automation frameworks for mobile and web applications, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile and web applications using tools like Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
- Implement API automation testing with tools such as Postman or Rest Assured to ensure robust backend validation.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab CI for continuous delivery.
- Perform database testing and validate stored procedures using SQL for data integrity.
- Collaborate with product owners and developers to build effective, scalable automation suites and mentor junior team members.
- Ensure test coverage for performance, security, and cross-platform compatibility, leveraging cloud-based testing platforms like Browser Stack or Sauce Labs.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in test automation for mobile and web applications.
- Strong hands‑on experience with automation frameworks such as Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium, and API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Type Script, JavaScript, Java, or Kotlin) and experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Git Hub Actions.

Pay Details:$45.00 to $49.00 per hour
