Senior Software Test Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the development and testing of desktop applications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, which will align successfully within the organization.

Senior Software Test Engineer

Raleigh, North Carolina

Pay Range: $80

• Design and execute automated software testing frameworks, including the development of unit and functional test scripts using tools such as SQUISH for GUI of Desktop Application
• Conduct comprehensive manual testing to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience across various scenarios
• Perform other duties as assigned based on the business needs
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects
• Ensure testing processes adhere to quality standards and best practices

• More than 7 years of experience in software testing, particularly in developing test automation for desktop applications
• Proficiency with testing tools such as SQUISH or similar automation frameworks
• Strong understanding of GUI testing and manual testing methodologies
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
