Language Tooling Engineer

Winixx Inc. is a New York-based technology holding company operating a portfolio of over 35 SaaS platforms across freight, fleet management, financial infrastructure, and market intelligence. We are building WinixxOS — a distinctive, AOSP-based operating system powering a full lineup of consumer hardware — and, over a multi-year horizon, .wnx, a proprietary programming language designed to be announced alongside WinixxOS. This is founding-team language engineering: you would be shaping the core type system, memory model, and syntax of a new language from its very first version, not extending someone else's spec.

The Language Tooling Engineer implements and tests components of .wnx's developer tooling, supporting the LSP implementation, formatter, and linter that power the language's experience inside Winixx Studio.

• Implement and test LSP features (autocomplete, diagnostics, go-to-definition)
• Support formatter and linter development
• Fix tooling bugs and responsiveness issues identified through internal use
• Work with the Winixx Studio team to resolve editor-integration issues

• 3+ years of developer tooling or IDE-plugin engineering experience
• Familiarity with the Language Server Protocol or comparable editor-integration tooling
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

The compensation range reflected in this posting represents the minimum and maximum target range for this position. Individual pay within the posted range is determined by a candidate's demonstrated experience, educational background, skill set, and geographic location. Final compensation is established at the time of offer and may fall anywhere within the stated range based on these factors.
