Essential

Job Duties
  • Serve as Assistant Coach of the Division 1 Men’s Soccer program,.he overseeing and managing all aspects of the program and promoting the philosophies and objectives of the North Carolina State intercollegiate athletics program.
  • Embrace the Athletics Department’s strategic plan, ensuring compliance with NCAA and ACC rules.
  • Assist in scouting and recruiting student‑athletes, including on‑campus visits.
  • Coaching student‑athletes; evaluate their practice and competition performance.
  • Monitor conditioning and training of student‑athletes.
  • Assist in monitoring the academic progress and eligibility status of student‑athletes.
  • Maintain statistics and interface with officials.
  • Participate in public relations activities as approved.
  • Assist with budget preparations within the approved allocations.
  • Handle travel arrangements as assigned.
  • Participate in clinics, exhibitions, and camps as approved.
  • Attend appropriate coaches meetings.
  • Promote the philosophies and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program.
Other Responsibilities
  • Perform other duties and assist with special projects assigned by the Head Coach and Athletics Administration.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of two years of collegiate soccer coaching experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of NCAA bylaws.
  • Dedication to the success of student‑athletes in their academic and athletic endeavors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with a Division 1 Soccer team.
