Certified Medical Assistant - Audiology
Supports audiologists and patients in an audiology clinic by preparing patients, assisting with testing and handling clinical and administrative tasks. Maintains equipment and supplies. Provides a welcoming, professional experience for patients.
Education & Experience- High School Diploma or equivalent:
Required - Medical assistant or audiology clinic experience:
Preferred
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential:
Required - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification:
Required
- Room patients and gather history and chief complaint information.
- Assist the audiologist with hearing tests and other diagnostic procedures.
- Clean, maintain and stock audiology equipment and supplies.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records.
- Instruct patients on care of hearing devices and follow-up.
- Follow infection control and patient privacy requirements.
