Area Sales Manager

Role Description  The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South, responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration for Vidyut Tech’s electric vehicle solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing relationships with dealers, partners, and institutional customers, and ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded. The role involves regular field visits, conducting product presentations and demos, and monitoring local market trends and competitor activities.

The Area Sales Manager will collaborate with internal teams on pricing, promotions, and customer experience initiatives, and will prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts. This position requires close coordination with operations, marketing, and finance teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from inquiry to purchase and post-sales support.
Qualifications
Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
Experience in territory management, channel management, and relationship building with dealers or partners.
Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage diverse customer groups.
Comfort with data-driven decision-making, including the use of CRM tools and basic sales reporting.
Prior experience in automotive, EV, mobility, or related sectors is highly beneficial.
Proven ability to work independently in the field, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Willingness to travel within Bengaluru South and surrounding areas as required for customer and partner visits.
