Electronics Buyer:
Are you experienced in purchasing electronic components and ready for your next challenge? Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a trusted electronics manufacturing company in Anoka, MN to find a qualified Electronics Buyer. This is a direct hire opportunity with a company that values precision, quality, and teamwork.
- Develop and maintain relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Manage inventory levels and forecast needs based on production and market demand.
- Ensure components meet technical and quality standards.
- Process purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any delivery or quality issues.
- Conduct market research to monitor trends, pricing shifts, and supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and import/export laws.
- Support New Product Introductions (NPI) by sourcing new components.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and continuous improvement.
- 2–5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience, preferably in electronics or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of electronic components (PCBs, semiconductors, connectors, etc.).
- Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools.
- Excellent Excel skills for data tracking and analysis.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/specs.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Understanding of import/export regulations.
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
