* ** Manufacturing | Metal Fabrication**  ### What You'll DoAs a Laser Operator, you'll set up and operate laser equipment to produce high-quality metal parts.

You'll work with raw steel, computer-controlled equipment, and production drawings to make sure parts are produced safely, accurately, and on schedule.

Your day will include:
* Set up and operate laser machinery using setup sheets, Kanban cards, and work instructions
* Operate the laser computer and adjust machine settings as needed
* Load raw steel and unload finished parts
* Inspect materials and finished parts for quality
* Count parts and verify quantities are accurate
* Label completed jobs with the required production information
* Report material shortages, quality concerns, and equipment problems to the Lead or Supervisor
* Complete daily equipment checks and preventive maintenance logs
* Complete required production and quality paperwork
* Safely operate a hoist and manual pallet jack
* Assist with steel room operations as needed  ### What We're Looking For You don't have to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and willing to learn.
** You'll need:
*** Manufacturing experience, preferably in metal fabrication or laser operation
* Mechanical aptitude and an interest in how machines work
* Basic math skills
* Ability to read a tape measure, blueprints, and process sheets in standard and metric measurements
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to communicate effectively in English
* High school diploma or equivalent  ###

Physical Requirements This is an active manufacturing position. You'll spend much of your shift standing and moving around the department.

You should be able to:
* Frequently lift up to 30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
* Stand and walk for extended periods
* Reach overhead, climb stairs, bend, stoop, and grasp tools and materials
* Operate a hoist and manual pallet jack
* Successfully complete a comprehensive vision examination required for the position### Why Join Us?
