** About the Opportunity:
***
* JOB PURPOSE:

** Responsible for the performance of duties to install, maintain, repair or replace machinery, fixtures, heating and air conditioning units, physical property, etc, per assigned work orders or directions.
*
* ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*** Repairs and maintains company property as requested; performs complex repairs
* Inspects machinery and troubleshoots mechanical equipment for defects and safety performance issues (e.g., guards and safety device functionality)
* Dismantles, repairs and rebuilds machinery/equipment
* Performs advanced electrical troubleshooting on machinery/equipment
* Maintains and repairs heating and air conditioning units
* Orders parts to complete work orders
* Performs regular PM work orders
* Installs pipe and tubing for compressed air, gas, water and hydraulic lines
* Directs and works with contracted maintenance service technicians as needed
* Builds and installs special guards, fences and support brackets
* Trains production personnel on proper use of equipment and in the carrying out of daily operator PM tasks
* Operates forklift, skyjack, floor sweeper, hoists and wave

- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

*** Perform other duties as assigned
** REQUIREMENTS:
*** Minimum seven years related experience and trade school graduate or equivalent combination of skills and experience.  Must include advanced knowledge of robotic welding machines, CNC machines and laser cutters.
* Minimum two years welding (wire fed/MIG) experience.
* Ability read blueprints/layouts, and technical equipment repair manuals/bulletins.
* Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write and understand).
* Valid driver’s license and ability to drive the Life Fitness pick-up truck.
* Ability to operate a computer, including email and the maintenance work order system.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
* Schedule requires on-call availability and rotating night/weekend coverage.

* PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

*** Lift up to 30lbs occasionally and up to 50lbs rarely.
* Walking, standing, bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting/turning, overhead reaching, ladder/stair climbing and grasping tools as necessary.
* Operates forklift, skyjack, floor sweeper, hoists and wave.

Your base wage will be between $29.00 - $39.50 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors.

You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
