Sr. Accountant

Konica Minolta is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sr. Accountant I to join our Accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close activities, lease accounting, and supporting audit and financial reporting processes. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while playing a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting.

This position follows a hybrid schedule and is based in our Ramsey, NJ office. Team members are expected to work onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

• Responsible for Balance Sheet Account reconciliations
• Accounting for Capital Leases Reporting
• Assist with Monthly, Quarterly and Year-end closings
• Assist with Semi-Annual and Year-end Audits
• Ability to work independently under tight reporting deadlines and/or in a team environment
• Research and analyze past and current reconciling items
• Special projects

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
• Proficient using computer-based accounting, and research systems
• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA preferred
• Knowledge of Solomon
• BS/BA degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 5+ years of related work experience
