Associate Litigation Attorney

Job Description

We are seeking Associate Litigation Attorneys with zero and prior experience to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draft legal documents, take depositions and examinations under oath, appear in court, and advise clients on litigation matters and insurance coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies
• Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients
• Advise clients on coverage availability
• Prepare discovery and take and defend depositions and examinations under oath
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Attend arbitrations and mediations
• Appear in Court proceedings
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law

Qualifications:

• Valid law license, NY and NJ preferably
• Previous experience in insurance law, general liability, SUM/SUIM and no-fault is a plus
• Familiarity with litigation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
