Journeyman Electrician

We are currently looking for dependable and versatile Journeyman Electricians to contribute to our active residential and commercial construction initiatives spanning North Jersey and Rockland County. Candidates should possess a robust background in residential electrical infrastructure and regulatory standards, with the readiness to immediately integrate into our current project workflows. Our diverse range of active sites offers opportunities for those with commercial expertise to demonstrate their adaptability across various environments.

Core Duties

• Manage the full scope of residential electrical tasks, including wiring, rough-ins, and finishing, to ensure high-quality results for our clients.
• Translate technical blueprints and schematics into precise, code-compliant electrical installations.
• Perform detailed diagnostics to resolve intricate issues within circuitry, lighting controls, and electrical panels.
• Apply commercial techniques, such as conduit bending and MC cable installation, to assist in the successful completion of commercial site fit-outs.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by consistently following OSHA guidelines and NEC regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers and fellow tradespeople to ensure all project deadlines are met.

Requirements and Expertise

• At least four to five years of practical field experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Possession of a valid state electrical license or Journeyman card is strongly encouraged.
• Demonstrated ability in residential wiring and panel upgrades, with additional preference for those skilled in EMT and rigid conduit work.
• Must provide your own essential hand tools and testing gear; experience with aerial lifts is considered an asset.
• Maintain a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record to ensure consistent travel between various project locations in the region.
• Demonstrate professional communication skills to foster positive interactions when working in occupied residential spaces.
• Expertise in residential electrical systems.
