A growing company in the construction industry is seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage financial records and support the finance team. This role is ideal for a skilled Bookkeeper comfortable handling substantial transaction volumes and working efficiently within limited hours.

• Maintain accurate day-to-day financial records using Xero
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
• Prepare reports and summaries for management
• Support payroll and other financial administration as needed
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Chase debt when required

• Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably handling turnover between £3–5 million
• Strong proficiency in Xero accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time schedule
• Understanding of accounting principles and basic reporting

• Part-time role with consistent hours and flexibility (on average 4/5 hours per day)
