Salary: £35,000-£40,000 FTE, pro rata depending on experience
Our client is a successful and growing manufacturing and ecommerce business seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to become the central hub of the organisation.
This is far more than a traditional PA position. Acting as the founder's trusted support, you will help drive efficiency across the business, coordinate priorities, manage key administrative functions, and ensure day-to-day operations continue to run smoothly as the company grows.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the main point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
- Manage the founder's diary, inbox and priorities.
- Coordinate recruitment activities and interview scheduling.
- Oversee HR administration, including onboarding, contracts and absence records.
- Organise meetings, travel arrangements and business events.
- Track actions, deadlines and business priorities.
- Maintain company records, contracts and important documentation.
- Support compliance, audit and health & safety administration.
- Develop and document processes to improve efficiency.
- Prepare meeting briefings, notes and follow-up actions.
- Manage supplier renewals, subscriptions and general business correspondence.
Essential
- Minimum three years' experience supporting a director, founder or senior leader.
- Strong HR administration experience.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and make sound decisions.
- Confident dealing with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace.
- Proactive, resilient and highly organised.
- Experience with in manufacturing, ecommerce or product-based businesses.
- Process improvement and documentation experience.
- Knowledge of ISO standards, compliance or health & safety administration.
- Experience using project management platforms such as Monday- com.
- CIPD qualification or HR training.
