CAD Designer Ramsgate, Kent £35k - £37k per annum DOEOffice Based | Permanent, Full Time Monday to Friday - 08:00-16:30 (37.5 hours per week)
Our client is seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join their growing design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented design professional looking to take ownership of complex projects, work directly with clients and play a key role in developing both products and junior team members.

- Manage multiple design projects from client brief through to final delivery
- Produce accurate 3D models, manufacturing drawings and assembly drawings using Autodesk Inventor
- Maintain design revisions and technical documentation
- Attend client meetings and design reviews
- Liaise with engineering, project and production teams
- Ensure designs meet quality, compliance and manufacturability requirements
- Identify and resolve technical design challenges
- Support and mentor junior CAD Designers
- Contribute to improving departmental processes and standards
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a CAD Designer, Design Engineer, Technical Designer or similar position
- Strong 3D CAD and technical drawing skills
- Autodesk Inventor experience highly desirable
- Good understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
- Experience managing client communications and project coordination
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to review work and support junior colleagues
- HNC, HND or Degree in a relevant engineering or design discipline desirable
