Maintain open, supportive, and regular communication with parents and carers to ensure holistic support across both home and school environments.
Person Specification
* Qualifications:
Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) valid in the United Kingdom.

Proven experience teaching pupils with PMLD, severe learning difficulties (SLD), or complex medical needs within a UK mainstream or special school setting.
* Pedagogical Knowledge:

* Personal Attributes:
Exceptional patience, resilience, warmth, and a genuinely creative approach to problem-solving in the classroom.
What We Can Offer You
* Competitive Remuneration:
Remuneration on the MPS/UPS scale, fully reflective of your experience, alongside a dedicated SEN allowance.
* Sensory Resources:
Access to state-of-the-art facilities.
* Professional Development: A comprehensive, bespoke CPD programme including funded training in Makaton, Team Teach, moving and handling, and pediatric first aid.
* Well-being Support:
Manageable class sizes (typically 5 to 7 pupils) with exceptionally high staff-to-pupil ratios and access to an employee assistance well-being programme.
