Second Pharmacist

Role Overview

Evolve are delighted to be partnering with a brand-new client to recruit a Second Pharmacist for their community pharmacy in Ramsgate (CT11). This full‑time, permanent position works Monday to Friday 9:00 am‑5:30 pm and alternate Saturdays 9:00 am‑1:00 pm; the pharmacy is closed on Sundays.

The Pharmacy dispenses approximately 14,000 items per month. You will play a key role in delivering a wide range of services, including Pharmacy 1st, dosette medication services, hormone treatments and flu, COVID‑19, and travel vaccinations, helping to improve health outcomes within the local community.

• Ensure safe and effective pharmacy practice, consistently meeting GPhC standards and delivering high‑quality patient care at all times.
• Actively promote, maintain and enhance the reputation of the pharmacy through high standards of care and professionalism.
• Maintain accurate, comprehensive records of prescriptions and patient interactions, ensuring full compliance with legal, regulatory and governance requirements.
• Remain up to date with new medicines, therapies and advancements in pharmaceutical care to support evidence‑based practice and continuous service improvement.

• A UK‑accredited MPharm degree.
• Current GPhC registration.
• Previous pharmacy experience is desirable; newly qualified pharmacists are welcome.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
