About the Role
Part‑time Cleaner in the Estates and Facilities Team at Kent and Medway Mental Health NHS Trust.
The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the trust, working according to NHS Cleaning Guidelines, and supporting the Cleanliness in Hospitals Programme.
Responsibilities- Complete the daily shift plan within the agreed timescale, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Clean in accordance with approved Trust methods and procedures.
- Participate in the Cleanliness in Hospitals Programme.
- Complete departmental performance monitoring weekly to achieve and maintain the Trust standard.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with the Trust waste disposal policy and ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to.
- Annual leave allowance starting at 27 days per year (when working full time) plus Bank Holidays.
- Access to the NHS pension scheme.
- Eligibility for the Blue Light Card.
