Pharmacy Colleague – Part time, Permanent – 16 hours per week, Pay £12.71 – Ramsgate

To be employed you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. The store operates 24/7, so shifts are flexible but weekend work is required. In‑store Pharmacies are popular and customers expect warmth, friendliness, confidence and quick resolution of health queries. Responsibilities include assembling and processing prescriptions, driving awareness of extra pharmacy services, supporting the Pharmacist with delivery and record‑keeping of patient services such as blood pressure checks and smoking cessation schemes, and following strict SOPs.

You will also collect prescriptions from doctors’ surgeries on behalf of customers and bring them to the store ready for collection. Within 6 months you will complete an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant and then train as a Dispensing Assistant, progressing your pharmacy career while delivering excellent customer service.

You are naturally friendly, highly organised, computer‑savvy, detail‑oriented and a good communicator. You enjoy problem‑solving, are passionate about helping people and committed to providing a great healthcare experience for customers.
