NES Fircroft is recruiting on behalf of a leading offshore wind developer for a Stores Operative to join their team in Ramsgate. This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day warehouse, stores and vessel mobilisation activities. The successful candidate will help ensure parts, tools and equipment are available when needed while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Pick and pack parts, tools and equipment accurately and efficiently
Load and unload delivery vehicles using a forklift
Support vessel mobilisation activities using a telehandler
Book stock in and out using SAP
Issue and consume parts through SAP
Monitor calibration dates for tools and arrange recalibration when required
Maintain inspection records for PPE and lifting equipment
Assist with stock counts and investigate stock discrepancies
Prepare dangerous goods documentation for vessel sailings in line with IMDG requirements
Manage waste disposal and storage areas
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Promote site health and safety standards and use the reporting system to raise issues and improvements
Carry out general housekeeping duties across the stores and warehouse Requirements
Forklift licence
Telehandler licence
Experience working in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment
Experience carrying out stock counts and stock investigations
Experience managing equipment inspection or expiry dates
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work safely in a busy operational environment Desirable
SAP experience
Dangerous Goods (IMDG) training
Experience supporting offshore or marine operations
