Core technical skills
Azure Bicep/ARM IaC (modular templates, what-if validation, AVM-wrapping patterns)
Azure Dev Ops YAML pipelines (multi-stage, environment gates, service connections, WIF/OIDC)
Power Shell 7+ to a security-conscious standard (Managed Identity/Service Principal auth, Key Vault for secrets, no plaintext credentials, structured logging)
Entra  (app registrations, Graph API, RBAC/PIM, conditional access concepts, Exchange Online app access policies)
Azure CLI and Azure Resource Graph (KQL) for read paths
Basic networking (private endpoints, DNS forwarding, NSGs/firewalls)
Azure AI platform services (AI Foundry, AI Search, Cosmos DB, Azure OpenAI), including private networking and quota/throttle behavior
Datadog monitor authoring (JSON monitor defs, tag/query DSL conventions)
