Windchill Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windchill Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SQL databases and PTC Windchill applications, including modules like PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, Project Link, and others. This role is responsible for designing and implementing scalable technical solutions that align with business needs, enhance operational efficiency, and support long-term strategic goals.

• Architect and design Windchill-based solutions that align with business processes and requirements
• Implement and customize various Windchill modules including:
  • PDMLink
  • MPMLink
  • QMS
  • Project Link
  • Options and Variant Module
  • Partslink Classification
• Integrate Windchill with Thing Worx Foundation, Composer, and Navigate to enhance system capabilities
• Develop and maintain reports using Windchill Business Reporting tools (Cognos, Jasper)
• Design and build scalable applications using Core Java, J2EE, and GWT
• Optimize and manage SQL databases (SQL Server and Oracle) to ensure high performance
• Configure and maintain server environments, including Apache, and develop web components using XML, XSLT, HTML, and JSP
• Create and manage web portal dashboards for improved user experience and data visualization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvement

• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with:
• Windchill PDMLink, MPMLink, QMS, Project Link
• Options and Variant Module
• Partslink Classification
• Experience with Thing Worx Foundation, Composer, and Navigate
• Proficiency in Windchill Business Reporting using Cognos and Jasper
• Advanced programming skills in Core Java, J2EE, and GWT
• Expertise in SQL Server and Oracle database management
• Working knowledge of Apache, XML, XSLT, HTML, JSP
• Proven ability to develop and manage web portals and dashboards
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

• Experience integrating Windchill with enterprise systems
• Exposure to Dev Ops tools and CI/CD pipelines

• Windchill or PTC-related certifications (preferred but not required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5 to 8 years of experience as a Windchill Solution Architect or similar role
