The Reliability Engineer II ensures the reliability and performance of equipment, systems, and processes across the organization. This role focuses on developing, coordinating, and conducting technical reliability studies, analyzing engineering designs, and implementing risk‑based methodologies to improve system and process reliability. This role performs moderately complex work independently with general supervision, applying advanced education and practical experience to solve problems and influence reliability practices across functional teams.

• Conduct engineering and statistical analyses to assess reliability of designs, materials, components, and systems.
• Measure and analyze reliability performance using established tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Recommend design or test methods, maintenance strategies, and process control procedures to achieve required levels of reliability.
• Perform risk analyses and reliability modeling; identify failure modes and develop mitigation actions.
• Undertake testing and analysis of new designs or modifications to improve reliability, cost, performance, and safety.
• Develop design, installation, test, and inspection criteria for equipment and systems.
• Inspect new installations to ensure specifications and standards are met; recommend modifications when needed.
• Define, develop, and maintain asset maintenance plans and reliability work processes.
• Advise operations and maintenance teams on reliability issues and support troubleshooting for more complex system failures.
• Prepare technical reports, reliability studies, and documentation in accordance with policies, procedures, and good engineering practices.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, regulatory, and company standards.

• 2 years of related engineering experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field.
• Experience applying reliability tools, methodologies, and data analysis preferred.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or life sciences environments is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of reliability engineering principles (FMEA, RCM, Weibull analysis, etc.).
• Attention to detail and quality‑focused work.
• Ability to work independently with general direction.
• Effective communication and technical report writing.
• Project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and maintenance functions.
