A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Oracle Database Administrator / Reports Developer

Position type: Full-time Contract (w2)

Role: Oracle Database Administrator / Reports Developer

Duration: 12+ months Contract

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 - Onsite Work

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Designing and maintaining schemas based on business and application requirements.
• Supporting application releases: managing schema changes, data migrations
• Experience in Performance Tuning, Aurora Postgres, Aurora MySQL, Delphix Masking, Delphix Virtualization
• Troubleshooting SQL performance issues related to application code.
• Collaborating with developers to optimize SQL queries and procedures. Ensuring application/database compatibility during upgrades or new releases
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments.

• Collaborate actively with developers, architects, and business analysts.
• Database Knowledge:
  Knowledge on Delphix
• Masking process Knowledge on Delphix Virtualization
• Proficiency in one or more RDBMS platforms:
  Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL (AWS Aurora).
• Understanding of database architecture, schema design, and data modeling. Advanced SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience with PL/SQL, PG-PSQL, or appropriate procedural languages. Knowledge of indexes, partitions, triggers, and database constraints.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting Using OEM, AWS Cloud watch, performance insights monitoring tools to track performance and availability.
• Execution and tuning of database backup/restore and disaster recovery strategies.
• Maintain and tune application databases for optimal performance.
• Support software development lifecycle (SDLC) with schema, scripts, and release management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application-data related issues. Ensure database reliability, backup, and security.
• Diagnostics and resolution of database-related incidents in production or development environments.
• Security and Compliance Managing database security (user roles, access control, encryption).
• Supporting audits, compliance checks, and adhering to regulatory standards.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range: $53 - $58 per hour

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
