Job SummaryA growing machine shop seeks an experienced CNC Machinist with turning machine operation and set‑up skills. Proficiency in using mills or a lathe, ability to program and edit G‑code, and experience with a variety of materials—including stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and steel—are required.
Responsibilities- Operate CNC machinery according to workpump instructions.
- Perform machine set‑up and programming (if trained).
- Use and maintain precision measuring and inspection equipment.
- Perform first‑piece inspection and maintain consistent quality checks.
- Conduct daily machine maintenance and keep accurate records.
- 1–3 years of CNC machining experience, with set‑up and programming an advantage.
- Knowledge of G‑code and M‑code.
- Ability to read blueprints and sketches.
- Understanding of tight tolerances and measurement of machined parts.
- Adherence to all safety rules.
- Strong independent work ethic, organization, and effective communication with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
