As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Response in Rancho Cordova, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and remain highly visible while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, offering you the opportunity to play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment while upholding our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify identification of personnel and visitors in accordance with site protocols for an aerospace and defense location.
• Document and report observations, incidents, and suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and first responders as needed during emergencies or critical incidents at the location.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors in a high-security environment.

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
