The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. The individual also counts and inspects product, notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will perform all duties as assigned. They meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality and comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Picking Responsibilities:
- Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands.
- Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage in the appropriate areas.
- Stack, package, band, shrink‑wrap, and label products as determined by client requirements.
- Process all picking functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Quality Control Responsibilities:
- Use appropriate documentation to ensure products and orders are received, handled and shipped correctly.
- Verify products and/or orders meet quality standards, reporting damages or discrepancies.
- Stack, package, shrink‑wrap and label products.
- Process all quality control functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance:
- Execute all safety protocols and perform job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area and assist in warehouse security.
- Comply with all SOPs, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, OSHA/SDS standards.
- Equipment Operation:
- Operate equipment such as a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
- Maintain equipment and report equipment problems.
- Maintenance:
- Assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Other Duties:
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.

MinimumRequired Qualifications
- Education and/or
Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). - Other: Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures in the warehouse during the warmer and colder months, ranging from mild to moderate.

Skills:

English (reading, writing, verbal). - Mathematical
Skills:
Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing, and distributing client products. - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timely task completion.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
- Adaptability to change and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Occasionally handling/fingering, sitting.
- Frequently bending.
- Constantly walking and standing.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull 21‑50 pounds; reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
The employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

CompensationThe pay for this role is $24.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
