Accounting Clerk

Pay: $20 - $25 per hour (Based on Experience)

Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred

If you have a background in processing high-volume invoices, performing accounts payable and receivables tasks, strong Excel skills, and experience in the insurance sector, we encourage you to apply.

• Invoice Processing:
  Efficiently handle the processing of high-volume invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  Perform tasks related to both accounts payable and accounts receivables.
• Month-End Close Assistance:
  Collaborate in activities related to month-end closing procedures.
• Journal Entries:
  Assist in the preparation and posting of journal entries.
• Assist with weekly check runs
• Assist with positive pay
• Maintain general accounting email inbox by responding to emails at an appropriate matter of time
• Answer emails to maintain check status and stop payments if needed

• 5+ years of prior experience in accounting, with a preference for candidates with a background in the insurance industry.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Net Suite ERP software preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial data entry.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
