Chaffey College is seeking applicants for a possible teaching opportunity in our Registered Dental Assisting Program. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Dental Assisting Instructors, as well as meeting CODA requirements.

• Any Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution AND two (2) years of professional experience;
• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA);
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA);
• 30 hours of teaching methodology;
• Two (2) years direct patient intraoral care;
• Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.

MEETING MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS DOES NOT ASSURE THE CANDIDATE OF AN INTERVIEW. Applications will be evaluated taking into account the breadth and depth of relevant education, experience, skills, knowledge and abilities.

COMPENSATION Part-time faculty compensation is commensurate with education and District teaching experience according to the lecture, lab, or non-instructional rate schedules.
