Position DescriptionChaffey College is seeking applicants for the adjunct faculty pool in the English Department. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for English instructors. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.
Qualifications- Master's degree in English, literature, comparative literature, or composition; OR
- Bachelor's degree in any of the above AND a Master's degree in linguistics, TESL, speech, education with a specialization in reading, creative writing, or journalism; OR
- A valid lifetime credential that authorizes service as an English Instructor in a California Community College; OR
- The equivalent; AND
- Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.
