Job Summary

The Site Program Manager (SPM) is the on‑site leader of a Think Together educational program conducted on a partner‑school campus. The SPM oversees all aspects of the state‑wide recognized after‑school program, ensuring it meets educational and recreational requirements, operates safely and efficiently, and functions in accordance with policies and operational procedures. The SPM is responsible for student safety and site operations, program quality for a positive student experience, partnership relationships, and maintaining the Average Daily Attendance (ADA) for which the site is funded.

The role requires managing multiple components and funding streams and being available before school, after school, on non‑instructional days, and weekends (Saturdays, summer, winter).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage day‑to‑day site operations and program activities.
  • Ensure all program activities operate consistently and ethically within the mission and values of Think Together and align with the four core agreements.
  • Be responsible.

  • Monitor and assess the success of the program including participation, quality of activities, behaviors, and student achievement.
  • Implement all Think Together Program Design and other program expectations.
  • Implement a comprehensive curriculum, including lessons and activities, which ensures the academic success of students.
  • Train and coach staff to understand all routines, procedures, and program design; provide printed lessons, materials, and supplies.
  • Effectively train and supervise the site team on academic and enrichment instructional practices; provide ongoing coaching to all direct reports.
  • Demonstrate a positive work environment and team ethic.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for students and staff daily; implement all safety guidelines and report incidents.
  • Interview, recommend, supervise, train, discipline, and terminate site staff.
  • Ensure sustainability of all funding sources by complying with mandatory goals (ADA, grants, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records of all student enrollment data through the student database.
  • Ensure each site meets ADA and follows all data and attendance policies.
  • Ensure accuracy of data entry, attendance taking, and confidentiality of student records.
  • Maintain accurate program records and follow operational reporting procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality, not disclosing sensitive information.
  • Meet metrics and deliverables to ensure successful performance and goal achievement.
  • Effectively implement student assessments and evaluations for program improvement.
  • Meet regularly and communicate with school principal and faculty to collaborate on academic goals and initiatives.
  • Keep administrators, staff, and parents informed on program activities and daily incidents.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders and attend school meetings as required.
  • Create and thrive on open communication between team members and stakeholders for continual self‑improvement and skill development.
  • Work cooperatively and collaboratively with partners, staff, public officials, private sector officials, parents, and community leaders.
  • Communicate effectively orally and in writing, demonstrating sensitivity to the target audience.
  • Manage site level budgets.
  • Ensure accurate approval of all timecards for direct reports, per pay practice policies.
  • Implement other HR policies and procedures.
  • Attend SPM meetings in‑person or virtually, and other meetings and training as requested.
  • Implement other plans or requirements related to program quality, customer experience and business needs.
  • Manage and meet all deadlines established and assigned.
