Chaffey College is seeking applicants for the adjunct faculty pool in the Political Science department. All applicants are expected to meet the California State Community College Minimum Qualifications for Political Science instructors (below). Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee employment or an interview.

PLEASE NOTE:

Assignment may include teaching in person/on campus.

The anticipated Political Science courses are Intro to Political Science and American Politics.

• Master's in political science, government, or international relations;
  OR
• Bachelor's in any of the above;
  AND
• Master's in economics, history, public administration, social science, sociology, any ethnic studies, JD or LL.B.;
  OR
• The equivalent;
  AND
• Demonstrated evidence of sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds in a community college environment.

Part-time faculty compensation is commensurate with education and District teaching experience according to the lecture, lab, or non-instructional rate schedules.
