The Communication System Installer enters and maintains low-voltage cabling and infrastructure in commercial environments.

• Pull, route, and terminate CAT-6A, CAT-6, and CAT-5 cables in a commercial setting.
• Pull, route, and terminate fiber optic cables.
• Dress and terminate distribution frames.
• Test cables and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Install support structures (cabinets, ladders, racks, j-hooks, sleeves).
• Install electronic fixtures such as APs, switches, UPS units, speakers, horns, projectors, cameras, and other electronics.

• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, and NEC standards.
• Own basic telecom tools and personal protective equipment.
• Have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license (clean DMV record preferred).
