Shift: 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday 10:00pm - 6:30am)

Employment Category: Full Time - Temporary

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Base Pay Range: $19.00/hr - $22.00/hr

• Ensure all production equipment is properly cleaned and the facility meets all food regulatory standards.
• Detail clean processing equipment including utensils, tanks, conveyors, pipes, cooling units, walls, floors, drains, ceilings, etc.
• Maintain outside waste area and perimeter.
• Use the 7 steps to effective wet wash during cleaning to maintain food safety and pest control.
• Comply with all company and quality policies and chemical and safety procedures.
• Assemble and disassemble processing equipment as required.
• Return production areas and equipment to production in a timely manner.
• Transport trash and other waste for disposal.
• Communicate problems or concerns with appropriate personnel.
• Wear all proper protective equipment during sanitation cleaning.
• Learn equipment systems or use HMI screens to stop, start, and purge equipment.

• High School/GED or one to two years of experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience.
• Required to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible with schedule; shift times may change, weekends and overtime may be required.

• Knowledge of GMPs, food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and standard cleaning methods.
• Willing to learn and adhere to safety procedures when working with moving machinery.
• Willing to accept change and work in a team-based environment.
• Understand lockout/tagout procedures.
• Experience in food manufacturing is a plus.
• Good attendance.
• Excellent oral & written communication skills.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Great listening skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to use chemicals (soap, sanitizers, acids) safely.
• Knowledge of sanitation equipment and tools.

• Certifications in forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, or electric pallet jack.

• Perform repetitive tasks: stand most of shift, walk, stoop, bend, reach, crouch, climb ladders.
• Work in cold and wet environment (~40°F).
