Stockroom Clerk - Temp to Perm at General Micro Systems

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour. This role is a Temp to Perm opportunity with General Micro Systems (GMS).

• Count, sort or weigh when issuing parts for kits and requisitions
• Fill orders or issue materials from stock
• Prepare periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock
• Complete periodic manual “Cycle Counts” on inventory
• Requisition articles to fill incoming orders
• Mark identifying codes, figures or letters on articles
• Distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued
• Adjust articles carried in stock
• Move or transport material to other departments
• Maintain inventory and other stock records
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum 6 months’ experience in stockroom parts requisition fulfillment and inventory maintenance
• Experience working with electronics parts inventory and in an ESD environment is preferred

• Detail oriented with the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Plan, prioritize and organize work activities; follow instructions, procedures and policies
• Conscientiousness, timely and accurate work
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative
• Professional appearance and behavior; strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• On-site 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday with potential overtime
• Limited travel required

• Regularly sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, bend, lift up to 30 lbs
• Occasionally use a stepladder or stool to access materials up to 8 ft
• Work environment includes enclosed workstation and fluorescent lighting; moderate noise
