• Operate and maintain downstream secondary packaging equipment.
• Replenish raw materials on automated packaging equipment.
• Respond to stoppages, conduct troubleshooting, jam clearing, and cleaning on secondary packaging equipment.
• Perform changeovers on secondary packaging equipment and assist machine operators with primary packaging equipment changeovers.
• Conduct quality checks on secondary packages, including lot coding and aesthetics.
• Assist machine operators with primary package quality checks, including lot coding, aesthetics, and seal integrity.
• Track output from palletizing equipment and resolve jams.
• Operate the supersack loading station.
• Demonstrate and enforce safety practices, reinforcing coaching among colleagues.
• Follow established safety guidelines and comply with all procedures (e.g., PPE, Lock Out Tag Out).
• Support food safety, quality programs, and maintain product quality through GMP and preventive controls.
• Provide documentation of quality measures using analytical tools.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support business objectives and company values.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• One year of production or distribution experience.
• One year of operation of manual and automated packaging equipment.

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow verbal directions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and internet environments.
• Mechanical aptitude for minor machine adjustments and jam clearing.
• Ability to perform quality tests using analytical tools.
• Ability to gather, record operational and quality metrics via manual or automated systems.
• Ability to understand written policies, guidelines, specifications, and safety standards.
• Ability to work within a diverse team environment.
• Ability to uphold safety, quality, sanitation standards, policies, and procedures.
• Availability for variable shifts.

• Experience performing quality tests with analytical tools.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with food‑safety regulatory requirements and global standards (e.g., FDA Preventive Controls, GFSI, BRC, SQF).
