To-Go Cashier

Famous Dave's is seeking To-Go cashiers who are passionate about food and are enthusiastic about providing an exceptional dining guest experience. We are looking for a To-Go Cashier who pride themselves on providing the perfect dining experience to each and every guest!

To-Go Cashiers are responsible for accurate cash handling and packaging of to-go and catering food orders. Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

• Interacts verbally with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere environment
• Greets Guests, explains signature items, tours the Guest through the menu using concise and articulate language; listens and responds to guest questions
• Suggestively sells appetizer, entrée, and dessert menu items while using descriptive famous mouthwatering adjectives when describing each food item
• Understands and accurately uses the POS (point of sale) system to clock in/out, to process/input orders, and complete end of shift procedures
• Takes phone orders accurately. Answers phone within 3 rings in a pleasant, professional, and friendly fashion. Accurately packs and reviews orders
• Completes assigned cleaning duties including emptying trashcans and verifying and maintaining clean restrooms every 30 minutes
• Restocks service items as needed, (i.e., glasses, ice, etc.) and cleans areas as needed
