Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Representative / Sales Engineer to join our team in Southern California. This role offers an exciting opportunity to increase third‑party business and bridge the gap between technical expertise and sales excellence. The ideal candidate will have sales experience coupled with an engineering background, enabling them to identify opportunities, build lasting relationships, and execute targeted sales campaigns.
This role requires a proactive individual capable of understanding technical requirements and translating them into effective sales strategies.
- Develop Tender and Proposal Strategies
- Conduct Head Quarters Reviews of Tender/Proposal Key Components
- Determine Disposition of Tenders and Proposals
- Review Tender/Proposal Clarifications
- Develop Opportunity Assessment and Engagement Plans
- Identify and Capture Leads
- Qualify Leads as Opportunities
- Plan Cross‑Sell and Sell‑Up Opportunities
- Prioritize Opportunities for Engagement
- Prepare Sales Quotes
- Determine Sales Quote Disposition
- Prepare Contract Amendments, Suspensions, Early Terminations, and Renewals
- Investigate Events and Validate Event Investigations
- Collect Market Activity and Units Intelligence
- Proven sales experience, preferably in engineering or technical fields
- Strong engineering background or technical knowledge
- Ability to identify opportunities and build strategic relationships
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- US Citizen (required due to ITAR regulations)
- Willingness to work in Southern California
