Sales Engineer – Manufacturing Technology
We’re looking for a Sales Engineer who speaks both languages — technical and business. You'll work with manufacturing clients to understand their complex requirements, then translate those needs into solutions our team can deliver.
In this role, you’ll identify opportunities, build relationships from scratch, and drive new business development with third‑party clients. If you have an engineering brain and the personality to close deals, this role bridges both worlds.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development:
Hunt for new opportunities in the manufacturing space, qualify leads and prioritize which prospects to pursue, build relationships with decision‑makers and technical stakeholders, develop proposals and engagement strategies for major opportunities. - Technical Sales:
Act as the bridge between customers and our engineering team, translate complex technical requirements into clear proposals, conduct headquarters reviews of key proposal components, prepare quotes, negotiate terms, and close deals. - Account Management:
Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities with existing clients, manage contract renewals, amendments, and negotiations, gather market intelligence on competitor activity and customer needs, investigate and resolve technical or commercial issues as they arise.
- Engineering degree (Electrical, Manufacturing, Computer Science, or related field).
- Sales experience with a proven track record of hitting quotas and closing technical deals.
- US Citizenship (ITAR compliance required — no exceptions).
- Ability to understand complex technical specifications and communicate them clearly.
- Comfortable working independently to manage your pipeline.
- Experience selling to manufacturers or in B2B industrial sales.
- Background in proposal development or RFP responses.
- Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or regulated industries.
- Base salary: $100,000 – $150,000 (based on experience).
- 20% Cost‑of‑Living Adjustment (additional $20K‑$30K annually for SoCal).
- Direct‑hire position (not contract or temp).
- Full benefits package.
This is an in‑person role based in Rancho Cucamonga, CA (Southern California). You’ll work from our facility with occasional client site visits.
Application ProcessDue to ITAR regulations, we will need to verify your full legal name (as it appears on your passport or Social Security card), country of birth, and US citizenship status before interview scheduling.
To apply:
Submit your resume and confirm your US citizenship status. We’ll reach out to qualified candidates within 5 business days.
