We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Radiation Oncologist to join our growing Radiation Oncology team and prestigious Cancer Center in Beautiful Palm Springs, CA!

Join our team of 3 soon to be 4 Radiation Oncologist! Walk in to an established, cutting edge program with more room for growth!

Within our Radiation Oncology service line you will be treated with state-of-the‑art linear accelerators capable of delivering sophisticated therapies including:

Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)

Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT)

Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS)

Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)

AlignRT

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the evaluation, planning, and administration of radiation therapy treatments to cancer patients. This role involves working closely with medical oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and individualized care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments, including physical exams and review of diagnostic imaging and test results.
  • Develop and implement radiation treatment plans using evidence‑based protocols and cutting‑edge technology.
  • Collaborate with dosimetrists and medical physicists to ensure accurate dose delivery and treatment safety.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to maximize effectiveness and minimize side effects.
  • Educate patients and families about the radiation treatment process, potential side effects, and outcomes.
  • Participate in tumor boards, clinical meetings, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and institutional standards.
  • Stay updated with advancements in radiation oncology and participate in professional development and continuing education.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with completion of residency in Radiation Oncology.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Radiation Oncology.
  • Licensure or eligibility for medical licensure in the state of practice.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to patient‑centered care and continuous learning.
