Customer Service Rep
Job Overview
Team members are classified as variable hour, part‑time fixed, part‑time regular or full‑time hourly employees whose primary responsibility is ensuring our guests receive exceptional service. You may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. All staff represent Regal consistently with the mission statement and policies, including:
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Handling emergency situations when called upon
- General cleaning duties
- Compliance with the company dress code
- Operate POS system and manage cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed discount tickets, passes and coupons with accuracy.
- Upsell/suggestive sell Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX).
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Ensure ticket sales comply with MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Answer phone calls and questions from guests consistently with our guest service philosophy.
- Operate POS system; manage cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed coupons, and concession stock inventory.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Operate, prepare, and clean all concession related equipment.
- Upsell/suggestive selling.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food‑safety laws.
- Follow all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
- Maintain current alcohol certification and training where applicable.
- Meet legal age requirements when selling/serving alcohol if applicable.
- Read and understand training materials on sexual harassment and discrimination.
- Tear tickets, collect and deposit appropriate stubs, and direct patrons to their auditoriums.
- Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
- Enforce the MPAA rating system.
- Conduct in‑theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality, watch for theft, and maintain safe environment.
- Report any problems, discrepancies or unusual situations to management.
- Perform concession auxiliary sales as directed.
- Clean auditoriums after shows and maintain clean restrooms, lobby, hallways and other areas outside auditorium.
- Monitor cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
- Assist with all opening and closing duties per management.
$16.50 per hour (subject to adjustment).

QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made. Requirements include:
- Completion of the cast certification program and progress towards completion required for cast & box office cashier.
- If alcohol is handled, completion of legal state/local training and the Regal Responsible Beverage Server training.
- Good public speaking, listening, and clear response skills.
- Proficient in math calculations with speed and accuracy; identify and correct errors.
- Strong reasoning: identify problems, gather data, evaluate alternatives, take action under pressure.
- Excellent communication; establish goals, budget time, and set priorities.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk, hear; occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; occasionally lift up to 60 lb. Vision: close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment.
