$18.63-$25.88 / hour
* For 10 hour and 12 hour shifts this is the average hourly rate which includes overtime when a non-exempt employee works over 8 hours.

Preferred:
High school diploma, GED or higher level degree
- Required:
American Heart Association BLS;
Valid CA Driver License with excellent driving record; must be 21 years of age - Preferred: EMT Certification
Preferred:
Hospital, patient care or customer service experience
Transports patients to and from hospital, clinical areas, and their private home in a safe and professional manner.
- Demonstrates compliance with Code of Conduct and compliance policies, and takes action to resolve compliance questions or concerns and report suspected violations.
- Communicates pertinent information and unfinished tasks to co-workers prior to breaks, lunches and end of shift to ensure continuity of workflow.
- Provides safe and efficient transfer of patients.
- Uses a hydraulic lift, as needed, to assist patients in wheelchairs into the van.
- Provides safe patient environment at all times; straps patient wheelchair using the proper restrains by utilizing the special seat belts and straps attached to the vehicle floor to secure the wheelchair during transport.
- Operates patient support equipment such as oxygen tank.
- Maintains sanitized equipment such as wheelchairs after each patient use.
- Moves, transfers and lifts patients as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Good Communication skills and phone etiquette
- Ability to function in and participate in a team environment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of streets throughout the Coachella Valley
- Excellent interpersonal skills; communicates with public, physician office staff and patients
- Excellent driving skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
