Assistant Front Office Manager at Omni Hotels & Resorts

Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa is a 444‑room, Spanish‑Colonial‑inspired hotel located in Palm Springs. Each room features a private patio or balcony that offers desert views and a comfortable, desert‑palette design built to accommodate the modern traveler.

Overview

Responsibilities
  • Lead all associate training to ensure Omni Standards are met.
  • Communicate regularly with all department managers.
  • Resolve all guest complaints to maintain a satisfactory guest impression.
  • Maintain familiarity with the hotel computer system for training, maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Complete weekly supply inventories to ensure adequate parts.
  • Produce rate discrepancy reports and implement necessary changes.
  • Block/assign applicable arrivals for the following day (V.I.P., ESP, special requests).
  • Prepare group information sheets.
  • Complete checkout with balance report.
  • Perform daily credit checks.
  • Adhere to all systems and controls of the Front Office and related responsibilities.
  • Assure knowledge and training of the Marketing Programs, company and hotel.
  • Work closely with the Loyalty Ambassador to ensure select guests are tracked and serviced.
Qualifications
  • Previous luxury hotel experience is required.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for the entire scheduled shift.
  • Customer service oriented; ability to multi‑task, detail oriented and excellent organizational skills needed.
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems and related computer programs.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.

Pay

$70,000/salary. The pay scale provided is a range that Omni Hotels & Resorts reasonably expects to pay. Actual compensation offered may fluctuate based on a candidate’s qualifications and/or experience.
