Job Description

Summary:

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the retail shop. Carries out functions vital to smooth operation, works to develop guest loyalty, provides superb customer service, and responds to guest requirements.

Applications: Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

• Follows all standard operating procedures and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain inventory.
• Maintain orderly and neat presentation of retail merchandise.
• Perform duties related to stocking of inventory.
• Provide outstanding level of customer service.
• Maintain open line of communication with supervisor.
• Perform duties and follow all procedures related to the opening and closing of the retail shop.
• Monitor and report any problems or issues with regard to the operation of retail shop.

Gaming experience not required.

High school diploma or GED. 1 year customer service experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work with all departments and have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to communicate in English.

Must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs, and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a smoke-filled environment. Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will elevate when located in the casino environment.

Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs on an intermittent basis, and have sufficient dexterity of hand to use office equipment including a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
